Job summary

Greptime, an open-source observability database in Rust, seeks a DevRel to be the public face of the project to developers globally.

You'll write technical content, ship demos, give talks, answer questions on GitHub and Slack, and relay feedback to engineering.

This early-hire role grows with you; after 12–18 months you may shape the program and team direction while staying hands-on with the community.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in DevRel, technical writing, or an engineering role with a public component.
• Portfolio of talks, writing, or OSS contributions you can show to us.
• Genuine interest in data infrastructure—observability, time-series, distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Write technical content engineers actually finish—deep dives, migrations, honest comparisons.
• Build demos and reference architectures with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and ecosystem.
• Speak at conferences and meetups; we cover travel and CFP help.
• Engage daily on GitHub, Slack, and social; surface patterns back to the team.
