Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking a Design Manager to lead Experience Design operations and talent across our portfolio. You will coordinate intake, prioritize work, align with Product and Engineering, and scale design practices as we adopt AI-native development.

You will coach designers, foster an inclusive culture, and evolve design systems while ensuring high-quality delivery. This remote role offers opportunities to shape Cotiviti's user experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field.
• 5+ years of professional UX/Product/Interaction Design experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring designers.
• Strong user-centered design practices.
• Ability to coordinate work across multiple teams.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration with Product and Engineering.
• Experience designing AI-driven experiences.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to new tools.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work in evolving AI-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership for the Design organization, staffing and prioritization.
• Monitor capacity, workloads, priorities, and commitments across the portfolio.
• Establish clarity around what the team is working on and what is needed to move work forward.
• Serve as a working backstop on day-to-day projects and execute design work when needed.
• Help designers and cross-functional partners navigate shifting priorities and dependencies.
• Improve team processes, tools, and ways of working for efficient design delivery.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to integrate design into planning and delivery.
• Identify opportunities to reduce friction and improve collaboration across teams.
• Hire, develop, coach, lead and retain top-tier design talent and culture.
