Job summary

Lincoln Financial is seeking an analyst to join the Derivatives Middle Office, supporting the lifecycle of the derivatives portfolio and hedging program on a Statutory, GAAP, Management & Tax basis. You will partner with Trading, Treasury, Risk, Accounting, Legal, and Technology to ensure accurate capture, settlement, collateralization, reconciliation, and audit readiness.

You will own trades across their lifecycle, drive settlements and collateral processes, reconcile positions and valuations,

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of finance experience aligned to the role responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Analytical skills and close attention to detail are required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Owns trades across their lifecycle from capture through confirmation, ensuring accurate booking and documentation.
• Manages cash and security settlements across derivative products, identifying and resolving exceptions.
• Manages daily collateral and margin processes for bilateral and cleared derivatives, reviewing margin calls and discrepancies.
• Reconciles positions, cash, collateral, and valuations, investigates breaks, and maintains audit trails.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce manual work and improve straight-through processing through dashboards and reports.
• Builds automation and data-analysis solutions using Python, SQL, Power BI, or VBA to streamline tasks.
