Job summary

Regions in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Capital Markets Derivatives Operations Analyst to support the Interest Rate and Commodity Derivatives trading desk. You will focus on valuation control and maintaining positions feeding the firm’s balance sheet.

The role works with Front Office, Back Office, Risk Management and Technology, and requires five years in finance or related fields. Four days in-office per week at Atlanta Midtown.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Five (5) years work experience in banking, finance, risk management, capital markets, accounting, systems development, or interest rate derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy of market data used for daily valuations.
• Measures and balances P/L, positions and risk daily; researches variances.
• Prepares and distributes daily positions/risk and P/L summary.
• Performs IPV analysis and related explanations.
• Prepares and distributes client MTM statements.
• Manages daily margin call process for bilateral and cleared trades.
