GDIT is seeking a Data Incident and Problem Management Analyst to support the CMM Data Modernization and Governance team. You will coordinate incident response, perform root-cause analysis, and drive remediation across data platforms and applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in data incidents, problem management, or security Compliance.
• Experience with testing, acceptance criteria, and validating test cases.
• Strong requirements management, data analysis, and documentation abilities.
• Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and using Jira/Confluence.
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
• Experience with SQL for data querying and validation.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS).
• Understanding of data architecture concepts (data lake, lakehouse, warehouse).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical skills with attention to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incident response activities for data platform and applications.
• Lead root cause analysis for significant incidents and document corrective actions.
• Manage the problem management process and remediation plans.
• Facilitate post-incident reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain incident and problem documentation, logs, and timelines.
• Develop incident response runbooks and escalation procedures.
• Track MTTR, recurrence, and SLA metrics for leadership.
• Implement security controls and ensure compliance across the environment.
• Support audits and regulatory reporting related to data operations.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and data governance teams on security and compliance.
