Qualifications

• JD or equivalent professional law degree.
• 5–7 years in legislative policy work including Capitol Hill experience.
• Strong policy analysis and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely policy analyses.
• Develop talking points with Communications and Political teams.
• Develop policy reports on democracy reform, campaign finance, and voting rights.
• Coordinate with ECU teams for high‑impact legislative strategies, including outreach and coalition work.
• Build partnerships with organizations advancing democracy and voter protection.
• Maintain relationships with congressional offices and state legislators to advance policy objectives.
• Prepare travel dossiers, meeting memos, talking points, and testimony.
