Job summary

Project 26 Pennsylvania is seeking a Deputy Voter Protection Director to oversee the expansion of our non-partisan voter protection work across PA. You will manage Voter Protection Organizers and Fellows, collaborate with the Voter Protection Director, and coordinate with county governments and campuses.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in democracy work, 2+ years of people management, and experience overseeing remote teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in democracy work, campaigns, or advocacy.
• 2+ years in roles with direct reports.
• Experience managing remote teams (paid and volunteer).
• Familiar with PA election landscape and campus voting.
• Skilled in political messaging and audience tailoring.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage Voter Protection Organizing team and fellowship program.
• Recruit/train/deploy poll observer volunteers for Election Day.
• Lead research for 2026 voter education materials and outreach.
• Collaborate with departments; support field operations and coalitions.
• Maintain relationships with counties, campuses, and state partners.
