Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Deputy Design Manager I to support colocation and hyperscale data center projects from due diligence to design and construction administration. The role is primarily remote, with travel as needed, and offers growth toward independent Design Manager responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree+ 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• 2+ years of experience working in A/E firms.
• Experience supporting design/project management for data center projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Design Manager with daily project coordination across disciplines.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and track decisions, risks and actions.
• Capture accurate notes in meetings and coordinate with discipline leads.
• Attend client meetings and track changes, QA/QC and deliverables.
• Assist in reporting, dashboards, and tracking tools; grow toward backup Design Manager.
