Job summary

DSD Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Officer to serve as the principal deputy to the CIO and drive execution across technology strategy, product development, cybersecurity and compliance.

The role focuses on translating strategy into actionable priorities, and representing the CIO in executive forums and customer engagements. The Deputy CIO will lead governance, risk, and compliance efforts, manage SBIR/STTR submissions, and oversee collaboration with partners and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, CS, business, management or related field.
Significant leadership experience in IT, software or product development, including portfolios or programs.
Executive communication skills for briefings, memos and presentations.

Responsibilities

Translate business and executive priorities into technology strategy and roadmaps.
Direct execution across major CIO initiatives with defined scope, milestones and owners.
Represent the CIO in executive forums, customer and partner engagements and cross‑functional forums.
Provide executive reporting on portfolio performance, risks and milestones.
Oversee certifications, compliance and cybersecurity programs (FedRAMP, CMMC, ISO, NIST/RMF).
