Job summary

DSD Laboratories is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Officer to serve as the principal deputy to the CIO and share responsibility for the leadership, execution, and operational performance of DSD’s technology portfolio and strategic initiatives.

The Deputy CIO will drive the translation of strategy into executable priorities across AI, software development, cybersecurity, compliance, government engagements, and workforce development, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and measurable

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Management or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Translate corporate objectives into technology strategy, priorities, roadmaps, and investment decisions.
Direct execution of CIO initiatives with defined scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, and resources.
Represent the CIO in executive forums, customer and industry engagements, and decision forums.
Prepare executive briefings, recommendations, and portfolio updates for leadership and stakeholders.
Provide oversight of certification, compliance, cybersecurity, and related governance activities.
Lead growth, capture, and technical solution leadership for SBIR/STTR submissions and related opportunities.
Oversee partnerships with technology companies, research organizations, and government channels.
Shape the technical workforce strategy, staffing priorities, and capability development across technology teams.
