Job summary

People’s Credit Union in Middletown, RI is seeking a Deposit Services Representative I to support daily deposit operations and member accounts. You will perform transaction processing, quality control, and research tasks in a regulated environment, upholding our core values and commitment to member service.

The role emphasizes accurate processing, problem solving, and collaboration with team members across departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years teller/clerical/bookkeeping experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of retail operational policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming/outgoing ACH and wires daily.
• Review documentation for new/existing members for accuracy.
• Conduct research on member deposits and respond to requests.
• Provide compliance support for audits and regulatory requests.
• Assist with ATM balancing, card orders, and maintenance.
• Cross-train in Deposit Services daily functions and provide coverage.
