Job summary

Ivoclar seeks a Prevention & Care Specialist to educate dental offices on our portfolio and drive sales within a defined geography. You will develop relationships with dealers, distributors, and practitioners, while promoting new products and CE programs to accelerate adoption.

Based in California, this remote role requires travel to offices and trade shows, with a base salary in the mid-60s to low-70s thousands per year. Ivoclar promotes equal opportunity and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• College degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Clinical hygiene experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a credit card.
• Ability to travel overnight and for multi-day business needs.
• Entrepreneurial skills to resolve challenges and create opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Educate on the Prevention & Care portfolio and sell to existing offices and new offices within a specified geography.
• Call on all company authorized dealers in an assigned territory.
• Develop good business partnerships with dealers and their sales representatives.
• Direct and develop distributors and dealers to sell Ivoclar Prevention & Care solutions.
• Introduce new products/promotions and demonstrate market share growth opportunities.
• Share with practitioners how to soft-sell the product(s) to patients.
• Advise staff on changes to grow the office business while maintaining high care standards.
• Collaborate with Ivoclar territory sales reps to boost office success.
• Develop dental professionals as referrals and customers in the territory.
• Participate in local, regional, and national dental trade shows and seminars.
• Sell clinical product line to dental schools in the territory and build relationships with directors.
• Leverage CE education programs to accelerate awareness and adoption of our portfolio.
• Be familiar with government dental facilities in the territory and introduce Ivoclar P&C products.
• Maintain a current sales plan including programs, competitive analysis, and environment assessment.
