Job summary

Electronic Systems, Inc. is seeking experienced Dental Office PC Installation Technicians to replace and configure Windows PCs in dental offices, supporting PMS and imaging applications and related peripherals.

You will review existing workstations, reproduce configurations, and create repeatable runbooks for future deployments. The role requires hands-on experience with dental PMS platforms and imaging software, plus the ability to troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors when needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing and supporting dental PMS and imaging software.
• Ability to review existing workstations and reproduce configurations on replacements.
• Capable of creating installation documentation and runbooks for repeat deployments.

Responsibilities

• Replace and configure Windows PCs in active dental offices.
• Review the existing workstation to identify applications, settings, peripherals, printers, and dependencies.
• Install and configure dental PMS applications.
• Install and configure dental X-ray/imaging applications.
• Install required supporting dental-office applications.
• Configure connectivity to application, database, file, and imaging servers.
• Configure mapped drives, printers, shortcuts, and workstation-specific settings.
• Install and configure dental peripherals and required drivers.
• Migrate user data and settings when applicable.
• Troubleshoot application, connectivity, licensing, driver, and peripheral issues.
• Coordinate with dental software vendors as needed.
• Test applications and peripherals with office personnel before completion.
• Document the installation process, configuration, issues, and resolutions.
