Medasource seeks a Part-Time Dental Consultant for the Kentucky Department for Public Health Harm Reduction Branch in a fully remote, 8 hours/week role, providing clinical guidance and educational resources to improve oral health access for underserved populations.

This 9‑month contract, starting January 1, 2027, is funded by CMS/HHS with potential extensions, offering a meaningful impact and collaboration with dental providers and public health professionals.

Qualifications

• Licensed dentist in good standing.
• Experience providing clinical training, technical assistance, or consultation.
• Experience serving underserved, high‑risk populations.
• Knowledge of evidence‑based oral health practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise and technical guidance related to oral health throughout project implementation.
• Advise on evidence-based practices to support project goals and access to care.
• Develop and review educational materials, resources, and protocols for accuracy and relevance.
• Support provider training and technical assistance with clinical content and guidance.
• Review activities for clinical accuracy and quality, identifying improvements.
• Collaborate with coordinators, providers, and partners to address questions and barriers.
• Offer subject matter expertise on underserved populations to promote accessible services.
