Job summary

Bluetree Practice Services is seeking a Remote Dental Billing & Insurance Coordinator to manage claims end-to-end from a home office. You will verify coverages, input data into patient files, and liaise with payers to optimize reimbursements.

The role requires 1–3 years Open Dental experience, knowledge of major clearinghouses like DentalXchange or Trex, and the ability to work Pacific Time hours from a remote location. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

Qualifications

• Must currently reside in CA, NV, OR, ID, or WA to meet state guidelines.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience navigating Open Dental claims administration.
• Familiarity with DentalXchange, Trex (Vyne), or other major billing clearinghouses.
• Excellent phone communication and high patience with insurance IVRs.
• Must be available to work Pacific Time Zone hours.
• Successful completion of a routine pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit clean claims daily through Open Dental.
• Obtain detailed insurance breakdowns and input into patient files.
• Follow up on outstanding, denied, or rejected claims.
• Audit aging reports, process co-pays, and post insurance payments.
