You will manage cases from filing through trial, draft pleadings, conduct research, and advise clients all while working independently from a remote setting.

The ideal candidate has a JD, Delaware Bar in good standing, 5+ years of experience, and a strong grasp of Delaware law, discovery, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Delaware Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of Delaware laws and civil litigation procedures.
• Proven experience in discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases remotely.
• Preferred: experience with Delaware Superior Court and Court of Chancery.
• Preferred: background in complex civil or commercial litigation.
• Preferred: strong courtroom advocacy and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters involving Delaware state and federal courts.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed case analyses.
• Manage cases from initial filing through settlement or trial.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and provide strategic legal advice.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and relevant legal professionals.
• Monitor court deadlines and ensure compliance with Delaware court rules and procedures.
