Job summary

The PMO Squad is seeking a Program Manager for a fully remote, 8–12 month W-2 contract with up to 25% travel. You will oversee a portfolio of subcontracted technology development projects for a nonprofit, DoD-funded consortium, ensuring scope, schedule and budget adherence.

You will coordinate external teams, run periodic PM reviews, and translate technical progress into government-ready briefs while maintaining risk and spend oversight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management with multiple external performers or subcontractors.
• Defense program experience and briefing government stakeholders.
• Hardware or hardware/software development background.

Responsibilities

• Lead kickoffs and set baselines for subcontracted projects.
• Track milestones, blockers, and deliverables per contract.
• Write briefs and status reports for government stakeholders.
• Manage change requests and project closeout.
