Job summary

ContractStaffingRecruiters.com is seeking a remote Program Manager for Aerospace & Defense. Part-time 20hrs/week through October, transitioning to 40hrs/week. Long-term opportunity leading DT projects across ERP/SAP integrations and modernization, with Agile and waterfall delivery, and strong executive communication.

You will oversee complex programs in the PMO, ensure strategic alignment, and partner with senior sponsors on risk, financials, and governance across multi-mode delivery.

Qualifications

• Typically a university degree and 10 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in related field and minimum 7 years’ experience OR in absence of a degree, 14+ years of relevant experience is required.
• 5+ years of experience with Program Management oversight of DT software development or infrastructure initiatives.
• 5+ years of proven experience managing large scale projects involving complex enterprise systems, such as ERP, SAP, Data Repository, or Engineering systems.
• 5+ years of a demonstrated ability to interface and collaborate with concurrent Enterprise projects, managing dependencies, resources, and schedule.
• 5+ years of experience building and managing schedules in Planview.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale, complex DT projects with proactive ownership and urgency.
• Support strategic vision and ensure alignment as a trusted advisor.
• Foster relationships with executive sponsors and understand strategic interests.
• Navigate political landscape among senior leaders in function and DT.
• Oversee project fundamentals: schedule, decisions, resources, financials, risks, dependencies.
• Blend agile & waterfall delivery and maintain momentum and reporting.
• Create executive communications to convey value delivery.
• Guide projects through phase-gated governance.
• Maintain focus on cyber, architecture, and compliance artifacts and approvals.
