Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in B2B business development, sales development, or related roles.
• Experience in PEO, payroll, HR technology, or related services is a plus.
• Familiarity with government contractors, DoD, or defense tech is desirable.
• Ability to research target accounts and initiate conversations with executives.
• Strong written and verbal communication with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective clients aligned with Cohort’s ideal customer profile (government contractors and defense tech).
• Execute targeted outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Qualify prospects and schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline information.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and partners to convert referrals into opportunities.
