Job summary

GM Defense is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead cradle-to-grave DoD and federal government contracting for multiple programs. You will manage end-to-end contracting processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with government regulations.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, leadership, and the ability to engage with senior leadership and external stakeholders in a fast-paced defense environment. Remote work with travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years in DoD or federal government contracts management.
• End-to-end contract process knowledge.
• U.S. Person and citizenship required.
• Ability to interpret FAR/DFARS.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Cradle-to-grave contract administration for assigned programs.
• Support implementation of federal contracting processes.
• Assist with Bid and Proposal activities.
• Research compliance issues and interpret regulations.
• Draft contractual documents including NDAs, Teaming & Subcontract Agreements.
• Develop and maintain tracking and change-management processes.
• Manage subcontracts and compliant procurement activities.
• Attend and interface in key contractual meetings.
• Maintain relationships with GMD Government Contract stakeholders.
