Job summary

Partner One Software Inc. seeks a Business Development Associate to drive origination and relationships in the US market.

You will travel to industry conferences, engage with bankers and founders, and manage the end-to-end process from first conversations to qualified opportunities for the investment team. You will run your own calendar, report to the senior deal team, and help shape outreach messaging while maintaining a robust CRM pipeline and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in sales, business development, investment banking, private equity, corporate development or related finance role.
• Track record of building relationships that produced revenue or deal flow and hitting targets.
• Comfortable with finance basics: P&L, recurring revenue metrics, and discussing valuation with bankers/founders.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend and represent P1 at conferences and industry events across the US (1–3 per month).
• Build and maintain relationships with investment bankers, M&A advisors, brokers and business owners in target verticals; keep intermediaries updated on investment criteria.
• Generate a steady flow of acquisition opportunities; run initial conversations with sellers; hand off to the investment team and help with early seller interactions.
• Own CRM pipeline, log contacts and activity, and provide weekly reports on pipeline and relationship activity.
