Qualifications

• Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with DHH authorization.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• DHH teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs, accommodations, communication access, and school-based special education.
• ASL proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to provide services effectively in a remote/virtual setting, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide DHH services and educational support to the assigned student.
• Address the student's communication, educational, and access needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and the educational team.
• Support classroom access through accommodations, consultation, and appropriate strategies.
• Assist with communication access and implementation of DHH-specific services.
