Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Principal Architect to define and drive the DataEdge platform strategy across data integration, replication, and intelligence solutions. You will partner with Product Management, Engineering, Support, and executives to align roadmaps and investments with customer needs and Rocket's platform vision.

The role focuses on evolving DataEdge into an integrated cloud-native platform, leveraging shared services, AI-enabled innovations, and cross-product collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IS, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience with architecture leadership.
• Strong experience defining architecture and technology strategy across enterprise products.
• Proven delivery of AI-enabled product capabilities and adoption of AI practices.
• Deep cloud-native, containers, and distributed systems expertise.

Responsibilities

• Define DataEdge platform strategy and translate business priorities into a shared technical roadmap.
• Build alignment across Product and Engineering teams balancing product needs with platform objectives.
• Collaborate across DataEdge and Rocket portfolios to identify shared platform opportunities.
• Drive reusable services, APIs, frameworks, and common platform capabilities.
• Lead cloud-native deployment strategies, observability, security, and operational excellence.
• Lead AI platform capabilities adoption, intelligent automation, MCP, and agentic systems.
• Identify and prioritize AI capabilities that create customer value and differentiation.
• Represent DataEdge technology vision to internal and external stakeholders.
