Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Manager to acquire, clean and develop datasets for analysis and reporting. You will design data architectures, policies and procedures to manage the full data lifecycle across the enterprise.

The role requires strong SQL, ETL, and cloud data platform experience with DataBricks, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, and Power BI. You will lead lifecycle projects and translate business needs into data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of technical experience in data analysis using ETL tools and developing ETL solutions.
• 3 years experience using DataBricks.
• Experience in SQL environments with SSMS and SSIS.
• Extensive experience developing stored procedures and dynamic SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake and related cloud tech and Power Platforms.
• Experience simplifying complex data for leaders to derive insights.
• Experience leading projects through lifecycle: design, coding, review and deployment.
• Proficient in root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated problem-solving for business/data issues.
• Solid presentation skills for client demonstrations.
• Experience working with deadlines and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, cleanse, and develop datasets from internal and external sources to support analysis and reporting.
• Develop and execute data architectures, policies, and procedures for enterprise data lifecycle.
• Prepare data for reporting and analysis, including visualizations to meet business requirements.
• Coordinate with business and IT teams to understand needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Ensure data accessibility, reliability, and timeliness for users; protect data assets.
