Job summary

Craig Hospital is seeking a Database Engineer & Systems Integration Specialist II to join our Information Technology team. This role focuses on supporting databases, integrations, interfaces, and data pipelines across the organization.

You will work with SQL Server, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, and modern cloud data platforms, while ensuring data security and reliability for patient care. The role includes a 24/7 on-call rotation and remote work within Colorado.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
1–3 years of experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with database administration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments across on‑premise and cloud.
Develop and monitor ETL/ELT processes for data integration and reporting.
Implement APIs for secure data exchange between systems.
Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to deploy and support applications and databases.
Monitor performance, availability, and storage; identify improvements.
Support data integration using SSIS, C#, Python, Microsoft Fabric, and Data Factory.
