OB Hospitalist Group seeks a Data Engineer / Solutions Architect II to design scalable data pipelines, strengthen enterprise data architecture, and connect systems, applications, and analytics across the organization.

This hands-on remote role blends data engineering with solution architecture and is ideal for a technical professional who moves confidently between SQL development, ETL/ELT, cloud platforms, and enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, solutions architecture, or a combination thereof.
• Proficient in designing scalable data pipelines and enterprise data architectures.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical designs and communicate with engineering teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from databases, APIs, and enterprise apps.
• Develop and optimize data models, data warehouses, and SQL Server environments for analytics.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and improve data quality.
• Automate data workflows to reduce manual processing and create repeatable solutions.
• Create architecture diagrams, specifications, and solution documentation.
• Evaluate cloud platforms and integration patterns across AWS, Azure, GCP, and related tools.
• Partner with security and compliance to support HIPAA requirements and governance.
• Serve as a technical advisor on data, integrations, and system design.
