Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Database / Software Developer to support FAA Aeronautical Information Services in Oklahoma City with potential telework. You will design, develop, test, and deploy data-driven software and database solutions, collaborating with FAA stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise software, experience with C#, .NET, Java, Python, SQL Server/Oracle/PostgreSQL, and modern development practices including DevSecOps, REST APIs, and cloud (Azure/AWS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise software.
• Experience with C#, .NET, Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Strong SQL skills: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud, DevSecOps, CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain data-driven software applications for FAA customers.
• Develop software solutions to modernize legacy applications.
• Collaborate with FAA stakeholders, users, and teams throughout the SDLC.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
