Job summary

Leidos seeks a Database/Software Developer to support FAA’s Aeronautical Information Services. You will design, develop, test, and implement data-driven software applications to manage aeronautical information for FAA customers.

You will modernize legacy apps, configure COTS, develop scalable, secure solutions, and lead technical efforts across the development lifecycle with FAA stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, information technology, or related technical discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise software applications.
• Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain data-driven software applications supporting distribution of aeronautical information.
• Develop software for special projects and modernization efforts.
• Configure and integrate COTS applications selected by the Aeronautical Data Team.
• Develop solutions to replace or augment legacy applications requiring tech refresh.
• Document requirements and provide technical leadership across the SDLC.
