Job summary

S R INTERNATIONAL INC is seeking a Database Developer I for a hybrid/remote role; USC/GC candidates only, based near Maricopa County, AZ. The position emphasizes database object development, query optimization, ETL pipelines using SSIS, and strong collaboration with analysts and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of relevant experience, solid SQL skills across MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle, and a Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science.

Qualifications

• 2 years of progressively responsible programming experience or equivalent
• Strong understanding of SQL and DBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Ability to design and model relational databases effectively
• Skills in writing and optimizing SQL queries for performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues; communicate technical info clearly; collaborate with developers and stakeholders; strong SSIS ETL experience
• Bachelor`s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Prepares, defines, structures, develops, implements, and maintains database objects
• Analyze query performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize SQL
• Define interfaces to ensure applications interact with database systems
• Create database structures, write/test SQL queries, optimize performance
• Plan and develop test data; collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders
• Build and implement database systems meeting business requirements with data integrity and security
• Design and implement ETL pipelines with SSIS and manage SQL jobs
