Job summary

LMI Government Consulting seeks an experienced Database Administrator to sustain and enhance the Army Contract Writing System (ACWS) on the Appian platform, ensuring health, performance, security, and availability across production, test, and development environments. US-Remote work option.

The role requires 3+ years of enterprise DB experience, Oracle/SQL Server, security/compliance with STIG, and an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of database administration experience.
• Experience with Oracle or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of STIG/compliance and security.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain database health across production, test, development, and other ACWS environments.
• Perform proactive maintenance, tuning, backups, HA, and recovery.
• Design schemas, data models, indexes, and migration strategies.
• Support security, patching, hardening, and DoD compliance.
• Support Appian data stores and database design for ACWS.
