Job summary

Manhattan Strategy Group is seeking a Data Team Lead to provide technical and managerial leadership for data management contracts. You will oversee the design, development, integration, and maintenance of data systems and pipelines to support grants management, oversight, and data-informed decisions.

Fully remote work is offered. You will guide a data-focused team, drive high-visibility projects, and align data solutions with enterprise goals, governance, and security requirements.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive professional experience in data engineering and data management.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, ETL development, API integration, and database design.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent data projects using Agile and iterative project management methodologies.
• Supervise data team members (analysts, specialists, data entry support).
• Develop performance measures and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of data services and solutions.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data architectures and data pipelines.
• Support API development, automation processes, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, data dictionaries, and knowledge transfer materials.
