Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a data platform specialist to analyze, develop, and improve data solutions that meet business needs. You will collaborate with operations teams to design metrics aligned with strategic goals and support ETL/ELT workflows across on-prem and cloud environments.

The role involves translating requirements into validated data solutions, documenting tasks, and maintaining Epic Cogito certification readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge.
Epic Cogito certification may be required or obtained within 6 months.
Workday certification may be required or obtained within 6 months.
No experience required with degree; equivalent experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

Analyze, develop and improve data platform solutions to meet business needs.
Collaborate with operations teams to design and document metrics aligning with objectives.
Manage small-scale projects and assist on larger ones using standard methodologies.
Translate business requirements into validated data solutions including ETL/ELT development.
Provide documentation and support for data solutions and related upgrades.
Support training and onboarding of users on tools and data platforms.
Maintain awareness of healthcare informatics trends and Epic Cogito certification.
