Job summary

Collate is seeking a Customer Solutions Architect to serve as a trusted advisor for our customers. This role blends deep technical expertise with customer-facing leadership to ensure success, retention, and expansion by driving adoption of the Collate platform and guiding best practices.

You will partner with Customer Solutions, Sales, Product, and Engineering to accelerate time-to-value, maximize product usage, and mature customers' data practices with Collate.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven experience rolling out data governance programs in large/complex orgs.
• Strong awareness of data governance frameworks and operating models.
• Ability to evangelize governance and guide organisations on metadata-driven adoption.
• Background in Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, Consulting, or similar in SaaS/enterprise software.
• Familiarity with modern data infrastructure and governance tools (metadata catalogs, lineage, observability, data quality).
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Collaborative, customer-centric approach managing multiple accounts while delivering measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Customer: act as the technical voice of the customer within Collate and influence roadmap.
• Guide Architecture & Best Practices: provide hands-on guidance on data discovery, observability, governance, lineage, and security design using Collate.
• Accelerate Adoption: help customers operationalize Collate AI Agents and metadata-driven workflows to increase trust and collaboration.
• Solve Complex Problems: troubleshoot customer environments with Collate engineers.
• Educate & Empower: develop knowledge assets, lead technical workshops, enable customer teams to extend Collate usage.
• Drive Value: present business reviews with insights into technical health and platform adoption.
