Infotrend Inc is seeking a Data Scientist (SQL/Python) to support our federal client through federal IT services, technology consulting, and data analytics delivery. This hands-on role combines SQL/Python development, data engineering, statistical analysis, and business intelligence to turn complex government datasets into reliable reporting and mission insights.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience building ETL/ELT workflows and data integration.
• Ability to build analytical datasets and BI visualizations.
• Experience with federal data environments and data security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Work with large datasets and various types of data found in federal government enterprise systems to develop, maintain and enhance reports, analysis and models.
• Extract data from various IT systems using SQL and other programming languages.
• Manage, review, validate, and secure data ingestion processes to ensure the accurate, complete, timely, and controlled transfer of data into a highly secure government data environment.
• Create clean, structured data sets for use in reports, analyses, studies and both AI/ML and non-AI/ML models.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data.
• Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research using client data, formulate hypotheses, test them and present the results in a clear and concise manner.
• Use advanced statistical techniques to identify and measure trends, anomalies and determine other relevant insight.
• Create visualizations and other tools that allow users to interact with data.
