Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid. Data Scientist to support a federal government client. The role involves conducting data analytics, data engineering, and predictive analytics, and building ML-based tools to automate processes.

The candidate will utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and languages like Python and R, with SQL for data merging. Experience with large Multi-INT analytics and cloud platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the labor category.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 12 years total experience substituted for degree.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conducts data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory and predictive analysis, and statistical analysis.
• Builds ML-based tools or processes such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems.
• Proficient in data visualization using Tableau and Power BI; uses Python/R/SQL to merge data sources and perform analyses.
• Designs and deploys distributed caching and cloud-based infrastructure.
