Job summary

Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) seeks a Data Scientist to support Federal Law Enforcement customers on-site in the Washington, DC area. The role requires US citizenship, ability to obtain a security clearance, and strong experience in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing large data sets, building models, and delivering insights through dashboards and visualizations to internal and customer stakeholders. This is a full-time on-site position at government sites.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. security clearance or suitability.
• On-site, full-time work at US government offices in the Washington, DC area.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a technical field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Federal Law Enforcement customers by collecting, integrating, and analyzing large data sets.
• Explain insights and methodologies to non-technical stakeholders; develop dashboards and visualizations.
• Prototype and apply ML/AI models for risk assessment, anomaly detection, and pattern analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts and interact with customers.
