Job summary

Heartland Consulting is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst/Developer to analyze data and design reporting solutions across multiple business units. You will develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services and Visual Studio, and you will mine data from various sources to drive business insights.

You’ll work with business leaders, engineers, and analysts to improve legacy reporting and deploy robust data visualizations.

Qualifications

• Expert hands-on experience with SQL on Microsoft SQL Server in development and optimization tasks.
• Strong background in designing data models and reporting solutions to drive business insights.
• Experience with SSRS, Report Builder, and Visual Studio to create and deploy reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers to translate data needs into reporting solutions.
• Gather requirements and convert them into data specs and report designs (reports, dashboards, scorecards).
• Develop and maintain SSRS reports; write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting needs.
