Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Data Quality Analyst & Tester to support the VA Data Migration and Management (DMM) for EHRM. The role ensures data migrated from VistA through VX130 to Oracle Health is complete, correct, traceable, and ready for bulk migration and site go-live activities.

You will execute data quality checks, investigate discrepancies, validate migration data, and collaborate with IRIS developers, VA staff, Oracle Health, and SMEs to resolve issues. The position is fully remote.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
Strong SQL skills for ad hoc queries and data investigation.
Experience with data validation, testing, and reconciliation on large datasets.
Knowledge of on-premises and cloud data security practices.
Excellent problem-solving and clear written / verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Execute and monitor daily data quality checks across VA sites and large datasets.
Investigate data-quality discrepancies and drive corrective actions to resolution.
Validate migration queries, extracts, transformed data for bulk migration and go-live.
Collaborate with IRIS developers, VA staff, Oracle Health, and SMEs to resolve issues.
Prepare, maintain, and support weekly Data Quality reporting and status updates.
Gather requirements, implement, test, and deploy new data quality capabilities.
Create, validate, and troubleshoot SQL queries and data extracts.
Monitor DQ applications and coordinate resolution with engineering teams.
Manage DQ tool access and document procedures and checks.
Lead recurring Data Quality meetings and communicate findings to stakeholders.
