Job summary

VetsEZ is seeking a Data Quality Analyst & Tester to support VA data migration and management efforts. The role emphasizes ensuring data migrated from VistA through VX130 to Oracle Health is complete, correct, and traceable, enabling bulk migration and VA go-live.

The candidate will perform data quality checks, validate migration outputs, and collaborate with IRIS developers, VA staff, and SMEs to resolve issues and strengthen data integrity for the EHR modernization program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as CS, IS, engineering, data analytics, or equivalent.
• Experience validating data and performing data-quality testing on large datasets.
• Strong SQL skills for ad hoc queries, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience with automation, monitoring, data mapping, testing, or analytics tools.
• Knowledge of database architectures and data integrity and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor daily data quality checks across multiple VA sites.
• Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and drive resolution.
• Validate migration queries, extracts, and transformed data for completeness.
• Collaborate with IRIS developers, VA staff, Oracle Health, and SMEs.
• Prepare weekly data quality reporting and status updates.
• Develop and deploy new data quality capabilities and checks.
