Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in information security, cloud engineering, database engineering, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of data protection, encryption, key management, and access controls.
• Experience with cloud platforms and relational databases (Azure SQL, SQL Server).
• Proficiency in SQL and secure data engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement encryption controls for data at rest and in transit across platforms.
• Apply least-privilege access models and perform entitlement reviews.
• Hardening security configurations for data platforms and databases.
• Embed security controls into data ingestion, transformation, and sharing workflows.
• Automate security controls deployment using IaC and platform APIs.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to IT teams developing data solutions.
