Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Data Protection Engineer to implement and maintain data protection infrastructure across on-prem and cloud platforms, including DLP and DSPM solutions. You will troubleshoot incidents and contribute to policy development.

The role requires 5+ years in data protection, strong hands-on experience with Purview, Varonis, BigID, ForcePoint, Windows and Linux, and cloud providers (GCP/AWS/AZ). Advanced certifications and collaboration with security teams are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• 5+ years of experience with Information Security, governance, risk and/or compliance
• 3+ years of hands-on engineering with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Experience deploying and maintaining infrastructure for DLP software

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain DLP and DSPM components across on-prem and cloud environments
• Troubleshoot data protection incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Configure data protection policies, sensitive information types, and detection tuning
• Collaborate with security teams to design and deploy data protection solutions
• Develop documentation and assist with testing and project tasks using PowerShell or Python
