Job summary

Matter is seeking a Product Researcher to define and drive the insurance data-product roadmap. You will translate workflows, economics, and adoption constraints into actionable product requirements and pricing, partnering with science, engineering, deployment, and commercial teams to scale insurance offerings.

You will determine what to build, why it matters, and how to deliver measurable business value, guiding adoption from early deployment to scaled products.

Qualifications

• Deep insurance domain expertise, ideally from data or workflow products sold into P&C carriers.
• Experience shipping B2B data, analytics, or workflow products in digital environments from concept to launch.
• Executive-level credibility to engage with CIOs/Heads of Product and other senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the insurance product roadmap and translate customer needs into clear requirements.
• Collaborate with science, engineering, deployment and commercial teams to scope products.
• Define ROI frameworks and pricing, packaging, and cost-to-serve.
• Build product economics and iterate based on insurer workflows and data value.
