Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced Data Product Owner to bridge business needs with the Data Engineering organization. You will define priorities, maintain the backlog, and drive delivery across multiple data initiatives in a fully remote environment.

Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and offshore teams to shape the data roadmap, ensure feasible requirements, and deliver measurable business value through well-defined epics, features, and user stories.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Product Owner or similar role supporting data engineering teams.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments with Jira expertise.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into Epics, Features and User Stories.
• Experience with data platforms and data delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and Data Engineering teams.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog and align with delivery timelines.
• Translate requirements into Epics, Features and User Stories for engineering.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and offshore resources to drive delivery.
• Facilitate backlog refinement and sprint planning across multiple initiatives.
