Job summary

Habitat Health is hiring its first Data Product Manager to own the roadmap for data products and infrastructure. You will bridge Product and Data, aligning with C‑Suite and VP-level stakeholders, and collaborate with the development team to build data products that meet business needs.

You will work across Platform & Integrations, Dashboards & Reporting, applying hands-on data skills (SQL, data models) and a bias for delivering meaningful insights in a regulated healthcare context.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years shipping data products, dashboards or reporting tools end-to-end.
• Solid understanding of healthcare data ontologies, systems, and IT.
• Proficiency in SQL to independently query and validate data.
• Ability to write clear, technical specs (metrics, cohort logic, source-to-target mapping).
• Experience partnering with operations, compliance, or clinical leadership to gather requirements and lead UAT.
• Familiarity with Jira, Git, Power BI and cloud data platforms; ability to spec, review and troubleshoot with engineering.
• Comfort using AI tools to enhance productivity in requirements, docs, analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Discovery: define business problems and priorities for data products.
• Build and ship: own the full delivery cycle from specs to rollout.
• Hands-on data work: query, validate, and review code using SQL.
• Triage: balance quick fixes with roadmap work across ad hoc requests.
• Lead user acceptance testing with stakeholders and end users.
• Collaborate with data, product, and engineering to shape Habitat's data platform.
