Job summary

Apex Systems, via Everforth Apex, is seeking a Program Manager to lead data product strategy remotely for MNIT/DCYF initiatives. You will drive data products from concept through launch, aligning engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities include defining roadmaps, governance, and dashboards, while upholding regulatory privacy standards in a highly regulated environment. Remote work with collaboration across multiple teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in data management, data analytics, data engineering, or related fields.
• Demonstrated product leadership and ability to work in ambiguity.
• Strong understanding of data systems: pipelines, warehousing, modeling, metadata, governance.
• Proficiency collaborating with data architecture, data engineering and data science teams.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
• Strong communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with analytics tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics.
• Understanding of data sharing constraints and agreements.
• Experience with SQL, data lakes, data pipelines/ETL.
• Significant experience with Databricks.
• Familiarity with Java and Python.
• Background in building internal platforms or developer-facing products.
• Experience implementing modern data architectures in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and roadmap for data products and analytics tools.
• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of data products from requirements to launch.
• Partner with data engineers and scientists to build scalable pipelines and services.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and documentation standards.
• Translate business needs into data transformations and rules.
• Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture and MNIT for alignment.
• Define success metrics and measure product adoption and impact.
• Design dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks with analytics teams.
• Uphold governance, privacy, and ethical data standards.
