Job summary

RESPEC Inc. seeks an experienced Data Product Manager to drive a major state enterprise modernization for MNIT and DCYF. You’ll guide data products from ideation to deployment, migrating legacy data to cloud lakehouses and building reusable data services.

You will bridge executives, engineers, and analysts to deliver trusted data assets, support dashboards, and ensure governance and ethical data use in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional data experience.
• Strong hands-on understanding of relational and non-relational databases, SQL, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and modern lakehouse architectures.
• Experience leading data products through full development lifecycle and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap, and link data capabilities to state outcomes.
• Migrate data pipelines from legacy mainframes to lakehouse platforms with governance.
• Collaborate with data engineering/science to build scalable pipelines and models.
• Enable analytics with dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, Looker and measure adoption impact.
• Ensure data privacy, governance, and regulatory compliance in a public-sector context.
• Lead knowledge transfer and documentation for long-term operational excellence.
