Job summary

RESPEC is seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to lead a major state modernization effort for MNIT and DCYF, turning raw data into governed, reusable assets. You will bridge executives, data engineers, data scientists, and operations to drive cloud migration and data lakehouse implementations.

You will define product strategy, own roadmaps, and measure adoption with dashboards in Tableau/Power BI and Looker, while ensuring privacy and compliance in a regulated public-sector environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional data experience in data management, engineering, analytics, or digital product management.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specs and user stories.
• Strong communication to translate complex concepts for executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and backlog priorities aligned to state business outcomes.
• Lead modernization of data pipelines from legacy to lakehouse architectures with governance and lineage.
• Collaborate with data engineering/science to build scalable pipelines and analytics services.
• Enable analytics through dashboards and KPI frameworks in Tableau/Power BI/Looker, driving adoption metrics.
