SYSCOM, Inc. is seeking a Data Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of data initiatives that turn organizational data into scalable, high-value products.

The role bridges data engineering, data science, and business strategy to mature data practices and drive adoption of governed, reusable data assets across the enterprise. You will lead data product lifecycle, collaborate with engineering and analytics teams, and define metrics to measure success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–7 years in data management, analytics, or data engineering.
• Proven data product leadership in ambiguous environments.
• Strong understanding of data systems: pipelines, warehousing, metadata, governance.
• Experience collaborating with data architecture, engineering and science teams.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with analytics tools (dbt, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, GA).
• Familiarity with data lakes, ETL, and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Define vision and roadmaps for data products (platforms, analytics tools, ML infra).
• Lead end-to-end data product lifecycle: requirements to deprecation.
• Collaborate with data engineers/scientists to build scalable pipelines and data services.
• Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and documentation standards.
• Translate business needs into data transformations and rules.
• Define success metrics and measure product adoption.
• Partner with analytics teams to design dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• Uphold data governance, privacy, and ethical data use.
