Qualifications

• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and large data files.
• Ability to process large volumes of information while meeting deadlines.
• Experience reviewing and validating data for completeness and consistency.
• Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and confidential handling of PHI.
• Familiarity with healthcare data, CMS requirements, or patient surveys is preferred.
• Experience with encrypted files, secure transfers, and WinZip.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage large volumes of data using Microsoft Excel.

• Train new employees on data processing procedures.
• Provide customer support by resolving data file issues and inquiries.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance while processing data.
• Perform quality assurance to identify and correct data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the team to meet CMS deadlines and client requirements.
• Handle secure file uploads/downloads and transmission validation.
• Utilize WinZip to securely receive, extract, and manage encrypted data files.
• Monitor data integrity and resolve inconsistencies to improve quality.
• Maintain documentation of data processing activities and audit results.
• Assist with process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
