Job summary

Cobalto Talent is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Law Attorney to join its fully remote U.S. legal team. The role can be Senior Associate, Counsel, or Partner, depending on experience and expertise. You will handle U.S.

privacy matters, DPAs, and commercial agreements while advising sophisticated business and legal teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Data Privacy Law, strong U.S. privacy knowledge, and excellent counseling skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Privacy Law.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. privacy and data-security laws.
• Experience drafting and negotiating DPAs and privacy provisions.
• Experience with commercial and transactional agreements.
• Excellent client counseling and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex matters independently.
• Graduate of a Top 60 U.S. law school or top 20% of class.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of U.S. federal and state privacy laws to client matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate privacy provisions, DPAs, and contracts.
• Advise on data privacy, technology, marketing, and commercial issues.
• Collaborate with business, technology, security, and legal teams.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
